For people reading this that don't know me I'm Gaylen, a junior majoring in Broadcast Production and Sociology at University of Colorado - Boulder. I live in Orange/Villa Park, California not far from Chapman University where about 20 of the students on the ship go to school. Hopefully I will get to know them for more people to hang out with when I'm home.
For my family that is reading this I am adding some more info about the voyage and how to know where I am and what is going on here on the MV Explorer. Here is a link to the map that shows the ship's and my :) location throughout the voyage.

I forgot to show the beginning and end of my voyage on the itinerary but we left the Bahamas on the 19th so will have been at sea crossing the atlantic for 9 days when we arrive in Cadiz, Spain and will transit the Panama Canal on May 3rd (the day before my 21st birthday!) and will arrive in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on May 6th.
